“Innovation, Demand, & Competitiveness in Telecommunications: Implications for the Caribbean Region and Beyond”

 

In the past several years, ITS conferences have provided an international forum for practitioners and researchers to focus on all aspects of telecommunications and related technologies. This inaugural conference which will be hosted by the Mona School of Business (MSB), an Institute within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of the West Indies (UWI), seeks to continue that tradition. Its objective is to provide an international forum for the dissemination and exchange of information on innovation, demand, and competitiveness related to the deployment and use of information and communication technologies for a variety of application domains, particularly in the Caribbean region, but also in other areas of the world with similar profiles.

 

Papers are invited on a wide range of subject matters relating to information and communication technologies and from a variety of disciplines.

The conference will take place 23-26 June 2009 in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the Rose Hall Resort and Country Club. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15th January 2009.
